I love to design and create colorful hand woven accessories and quilts, for the home as well as scarves and shawls for the body. Each piece is uniquely different even though there may be more than one of each item. Often times I will hand dye a yarn to get the perfect color I need to add excitement to a piece. Using only the highest quality yarns to ensure that my creations are of the highest standard. Nature is my inspiration for all my weaving, knitting and fine art.

I am enchanted by the natural world of plants. Their inherent beauty and grace offer me a great diversity of images to convey visually, such as color, line and form while added to this is the seduction of light and its ability to emphasize those elements.
My work is not just about shades of color, but rather movement of lines working together to create a play of light. This is my response to the natural world of plants that I take delight in and try to capture on paper or canvas. My approach to drawing and painting is simple but direct. Under painting in several layers allows me to challenge color while playing with the composition. This process permits me to make new color associations with each piece while being limited to the palette on hand.
